Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the venue?
We are situated in Hindley close to St Peters Church easy to get to by public transport, on foot and by car. Our address is The Monaco, Atherton Road, Hindley, Wigan. WN2 3EU
How can I get there?
Bus stops directly outside the venue.
Hindley Train Station is just a 10mins walk away.
Parking: We do not have a public car park at the venue but there are several FREE car parks locally.

How old do I have to be?
We operate a challenge 25 policy and so if you are lucky enough to look under 25, we will need proof of age documentation. Bongos’ Bingo events are strictly over 18’s only but other events will be clearly stated if under 18’s are allowed.
How do I order Food and Drinks?
For Bongos Bingo and our other seated events, we operate a cashless table ordering system via a QR code for food and drinks.
No food or drink is allowed to be brought into the venue and our security teams will undertake searches at the door to ensure this is adhered to.
For standing gigs the bar will be open and accepts cash or card.
Is the venue accessible?
We have disabled access through a double fire door and so if needed please ask one of the security team at the main entrance and they will arrange for the door to be opened.
Disabled toilet is on the ground floor.
Will I have a seat?
Some events will be standing only but for seated events, we provide benches and tables in a Bier Keller style set up. Seats are on an unreserved basis and so if attending with a group we advise arriving early as we do not guarantee that you will be able to sit together, but we will have enough seats for people with tickets.
What is the venue drug policy?
We have a zero tolerance on drugs our security team will perform check at the door, if found, any drugs will be confiscated, and the person will be refused entry.
Is there a dress code?
We feel that it is unnecessary to have a specific dress code as the type of event that you are attending will usually dictate what attire would be appropriate. Do be aware though that other establishments locally do have dress codes so if you are likely to want to go on to another venue after leaving us you may want to consider this.

No dancing on the furniture!
No you can’t purchase tickets on the door all tickets are to be bought via www.BongosBingo.co.uk
Dress code… we don’t have a strict dress code wear something suitable for dancing in but be aware some local venues have strict dress codes.
CAN I RESERVE A TABLE?
We no longer take table reservations from customers. We do make exceptions for customers with special requirements. If you do have access or physical requirements please contact us through our contact page – *Please Note: for any requests of this nature, please contact us at least 7 days prior to the event your attending*. Our tables there to be claimed on a first come first serve basis.
